Why Tea Stop Organic English Breakfast Tea Is One of Australia’s Finest

Looking for premium organic English Breakfast tea in Australia? Discover the rich, bold and beautifully malty flavour of Tea Stop’s Premium Organic English Breakfast Tea.

There is something wonderfully familiar about a good cup of English Breakfast tea.

It is the tea many of us reach for first thing in the morning — rich, comforting and full of character. Enjoy it black, with milk or with a little honey, and it is a classic that never goes out of style.

But not all English Breakfast teas are the same.

At Tea Stop, we carefully select our teas for their quality, origin, flavour and character. Our Premium Organic English Breakfast is a tea we are particularly proud to offer to Australian tea lovers.

A Premium Organic English Breakfast from Assam

Our Organic English Breakfast Tea comes from Assam, India, one of the world’s most renowned tea-growing regions.

Assam is famous for producing black teas with strength, body and a distinctive malty character — qualities that make it particularly well suited to a traditional English Breakfast tea.

Our tea uses the Panitola-126 cultivar, developed by the Tocklai Research Association in Assam.

The result is a rich and satisfying cup with a beautiful balance of strength and smoothness.

Bold. Smooth. Full-bodied. Naturally malty.

Organic Tea from a Certified Organic Supplier

We believe quality begins with choosing the right supplier.

Our Organic English Breakfast Tea is sourced from a supplier who holds organic certification for the tea we purchase.

While Tea Stop itself does not hold organic certification, we carefully source our organic teas from suppliers who meet the appropriate organic requirements for their products.

For us, this is an important part of selecting the teas we offer.

We don’t simply choose a tea because it is inexpensive or readily available. We consider its origin, quality, flavour and the standards behind the product.

Why We Choose Loose Leaf Tea

There is a wonderful difference between brewing a quality loose-leaf tea and an ordinary tea bag.

Loose-leaf tea gives the leaves room to open and infuse properly, allowing the natural aroma and flavour of the tea to develop.

Our English Breakfast is graded FBOP — Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe, giving the tea a satisfying depth and character.

It is the kind of tea that rewards you for taking a few extra minutes to brew it properly.

The Classic Assam English Breakfast Character

A great English Breakfast should have enough body to start your morning, while remaining smooth enough to enjoy throughout the day.

Our Assam tea delivers exactly that.

You can expect:

  • A rich, full-bodied cup
  • Beautiful malty notes
  • A smooth finish
  • Excellent strength
  • A satisfying flavour with or without milk

It is a traditional breakfast tea with the quality we look for at Tea Stop.

Perfect With or Without Milk

Everyone has their own way of enjoying English Breakfast.

Try yours:

Black — to appreciate the natural maltiness and depth of the tea.

With milk — for the classic English Breakfast experience.

With honey — for a touch of natural sweetness.

Iced — a refreshing way to enjoy black tea on a warm Australian day.

However you drink it, the important thing is that you enjoy the cup.

Carefully Selected by Tea Stop

Tea Stop was founded from a genuine passion for tea.

Our founder, Nicholas Fung, is a Certified Tea Master through Australian Tea Masters, bringing professional tea knowledge and experience to the selection of our teas.

When we select a tea, we look beyond the label.

We consider its origin, cultivar, grade, flavour and overall quality.

Our Organic English Breakfast is one of the teas that has earned its place in our collection because we genuinely enjoy drinking it ourselves.

Premium Tea at an Everyday Price

We believe quality tea should be accessible.

Our Organic English Breakfast is available in 100g, 200g and 500g sizes, making it easy to choose the amount that suits your tea-drinking habits.

For those who drink English Breakfast every day, the larger sizes also offer excellent value.

What Makes a Great English Breakfast?

At Tea Stop, we believe it comes down to five things:

Quality leaves — because better leaves create a better cup.

The right origin — Assam is renowned for its bold black teas.

A distinctive cultivar — Panitola-126 contributes to the tea’s character.

Trusted organic sourcing — our tea is sourced from a supplier with organic certification.

Great flavour — ultimately, the best test is what you taste in your cup.

A Better Way to Start Your Morning

The perfect morning doesn’t need to be complicated.

Boil the kettle.

Measure your loose-leaf tea.

Pour over freshly boiled water.

Allow the leaves to infuse.

Then take a moment to enjoy the aroma before that first sip.

We recommend approximately 2g of tea per person, using freshly boiled water at around 100°C, with an infusion time of approximately 5 minutes. Adjust the brewing time to suit your preferred strength.

Add milk if you like.

Or enjoy it black.

There is no wrong way to enjoy a great cup of English Breakfast.

Why We Believe It’s One of Australia’s Finest

We don’t believe you should have to rely on a bold claim that something is “the best.”

We would rather tell you exactly why we chose this tea.

It comes from Assam, India, a region renowned for exceptional black tea.

It uses the Panitola-126 cultivar.

It is graded FBOP.

It is sourced from a supplier with organic certification for the tea we purchase.

And most importantly, it produces the kind of rich, smooth and naturally malty cup that we believe a great English Breakfast should deliver.

That’s the Tea Stop difference.

If you’re looking for a premium organic English Breakfast loose-leaf tea in Australia, we invite you to put the kettle on and taste it for yourself.
